Artist Bing Liu , a young emerging Chinese American artist that was born in the early nineties, is an interesting mixture from the cultural diversity between the East and the West in this post globalization era. Bing graduated with a BFA in General fine arts (2016) from the well known Maryland Institute College of Art.

Through the abstraction and colors of Bing’s painting, the artist tends to provoke the viewer’s curiosity and yet portray a space of serenity for the viewers to enjoy. Bing sees these paintings as an invitation for a meditative yet creative state of mind, where the style and visuals are concrete but yet the contexts and narratives remain open and ambiguous.
